A skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to provide leadership and clinical oversight for a designated nursing unit. The Unit Manager plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality resident care while supporting nursing staff, coordinating care plans, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

This role serves as a key liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families, helping ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, and efficient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
- Supervises nursing staff including nurses and nursing assistants.
- Ensures residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Monitors resident conditions and coordinates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participates in and supports the care planning process and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers within the unit.
- Maintains accurate clinical documentation and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supports staff education, coaching, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitors infection control practices, medication administration, and clinical procedures.
- Assists with survey preparation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active state license.
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care standards.
