Searching for a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) near Greentown, IN. This is a part time role and offers a great compensation package!
This is an exciting opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping residents regain independence, improve daily living skills, and live life to the fullest.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Support residents with activities focused on daily living, strength, coordination, and independence
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Monitor resident progress and report updates
- Encourage and motivate residents throughout their therapy journey
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Skilled Nursing or geriatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, patient-focused attitude
- Passion for improving resident quality of life
